Steamer Sir Walter Scot on Loch Katrine

Loch Katrine is in the Trossachs and is home to the steamer Sir Walter Scot which does very popular cruises round this beautiful loch.

Steamer dwarfed by the scenery

As she moved out across the loch the steamer was soon dwarfed by the scenery.

Water cascading towards Loch Katrine

Loch Katrine is a source of water for Glasgow and it is fed in part by this channel leading down the hillside.

Tunnel bringing water to Loch Katrine

The water roaring down the channel above comes out of this tunnel which I think leads from Glen Finglas Reservoir.
