Reedham Ferry crosses the River Yare on the back roads between Acle and Beccles. The first two views show it mid river on its way to pick up a car on our side of the river.
The ferry can take three small cars (just) but looks well filled with these two, we got our motorhome on with no problems.
A view up the River Yare from by the ferry slip.
This windmill can be seen in the distance up river from the ferry.
On the north bank of the river is a pub, the Reedham Ferry Inn, which has a restaurant behind which is a touring camp site. They have free moorings for those arriving by boat.
The view down river with reeds fringing the banks.
