A focal point of the City of Ripon is the Cathedral, however as is often the case it proved difficult to get a clear view of it.  This first one of the west end was taken from a side street opposite.

Moving around the south side produced these views.

Nearby we found this ford crossing the River Skell.

Walking along by the river offered these views of the Cathedral.

A bridge over the River Skell seen through the foliage by the riverside path.  This was a very quick visit, we'll be going back to see more of this lovely little city.
