The first view of Poole is one looking across Poole Harbour from the road across the top of the Purbeck Hills from Corfe Castle to Studland.  Photo by Stéphanie Dinez.

The next two photos were taken from the Barfleur as she was leaving Poole for Cherbourg, first is the landing area and hotel (it used to be a companies, for their staff only) on Brownsea Island.

The second is of Bramble Bush Bay, the Sandbanks ferry which was waiting for the Barfleur to pass through before crossing to Sandbanks.

Brownsea Island is at the foot of the rainbow in this view of Poole Harbour.

Part of Poole Quay is seen here.  The Quay area is full of character, well worth spending some time exploring and soaking up the atmosphere.
