| Trewithen house & gardens are on the A390 between Truro and St. Austell and are a pleasant place to visit, away from the bustle of much of high season Cornwall.
Sunshine and shade along the lawn along the centre of the garden.
There is some restoration work going on to establish a water feature at the far end of the garden, even before completion it's a pleasant woodland walk there.
Like nearby Trebah Garden there are plenty of hydrangeas adding some colour amongst the greenery.
In the centre of the garden is a magnolia shaped water feature which also provides a welcome seat on a hot afternoon.
Near that is a camera obscura which visitors can use to get a different view over the garden, this photo is of the image projected on the table of the camera obscura. To learn more about these interesting devices can be found on What is a camera obscura? .
