There is a commercial side to the harbour, including a dry dock seen here with what looks like a small tanker in it.

Across the road (there's a lifting bridge to get into the dry dock) was another vessel under repair.

Viewed across Mounts Bay was St. Michaels Mount, Cornwall's answer to Normandy's Mont St. Michel.
